Dialogue in Museums

Billy:	So now that you're in New York, what do you want to do? Do you want to go see the Statue of Liberty or maybe see a ballgame at Yankee Stadium?	니가 뉴욕에 있으니 말야, 뭐하고 싶어? 자유의 여신상이나 양키 스타디움으로 야구 경기 보러 갈래?
Maria:	No, thanks. I'm not really interested in those things. What I really want to do is to visit some of the famous museums in the city. You know that I'm a sucker for good art, right?	아냐. 난 그런 거엔 관심 없어. 내가 정말 하고 싶은 건 뉴욕의 유명한 미술관에 가 보는 거야. 내가 훌륭한 예술에 열광하는 사람이라는 거 알지?
Billy:	That's right. You're a real connoisseur. Well, I recommend the Guggenheim Museum for sure. As you probably know, the museum itself was designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. In fact, many say that the building is the most impressive art peice there. I think there's a Salvadore Dali exhibition going on there right now.	맞아. 넌 정말 전문가지. 음, 구겐하임 미술관을 추천할께. 아마 너도 알겠지만 그 미술관은 유명한 건축가 프랭크 로이드 라이트가 디자인했어. 사실, 그 건물 자체가 미술관에서 가장 인상적인 작품이라고들 하지. 거기서 지금 살바도르 달리 전시회를 하고 있을거야.
Maria:	Really? I love Dali's work! Then we definitely have to visit the Guggenheim. I wouldn't miss a Dali exhibit for the world!	정말? 나 달리의 자굼 정말 좋아해! 그럼 우리 꼭 구겐하임 가야 해! 난 달리 전시를 절대 놓치지 않을거야.
Billy:	Did you know that the Guggenheim is also part of the Musuem Mile, so if you want we can hit some of the other museums nearby. They're all within shouting distance.	구겐하임이 뮤지얼 마임의 일부라는 걸 알고 있니? 원한다면 우리는 근처에 있는 다른 미술관들도 갈 수 있어. 그것들은 근처에 모여 있거든.
Maria:	The Museum Mile? What's that?	뮤지엄 마일? 그게 뭐야?
Billy:	It's just a nickname for an area in Manhattan that has a bunch of museums. They're all located between 82nd Street and 104th Street. The Guggenheim Museum is included. There's also the Geoth-Institut, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, aka the Met, the Jewish Museum, and about five or six more. In fact, I know the curator of the Met, so I'm sure he can take us on a VIP tour.	맨해튼에서 미술관이 밀집한 지역의 별명이야. 그것들은 모두 82번가와 104번가 사이에 있어. 구겐하임을 포함해서, 또한 괴테 인스티튜드, 메트라고 불리는 메트로폴리탄 미술관, 유대인 박물관, 그리고 5~6개 더 있어. 사실 내가 메트의 큐레이터를 아니까, 그가 우리에게 VIP 관광을 시켜줄거야.

Billy:	How much time have you got? I'm sure it'll take at least a day for each museum. If we pick up the pace, maybe we can hit two in a day.	시간이 얼마나 있는데? 미술관 한 곳 보는 데 최소 하루는 걸릴껄? 우리가 잽싸게 움직이면 아마 하루에 두 곳은 볼 수 있을꺼야.
Maria:	I'm only going to be here a week.	난 여기에 일주일만 있을꺼야.
Billy:	Then why don't we tab about five museums to go and spend about three or four days checking them out? And don't forget about MOMA. You definitely don't want to pass that up.	미술관 다섯 곳을 정해서 3~4일동안 둘러보는 게 어때? 모마를 잊지마. 꼭 봐야 할 곳이니.
Maria:	That's right! The Museum of Modern Art. How could it have slipped my mind?	맞아! 현대 미술관. 내가 어떻게 그걸 있었지?
