[Now in Korea] Japanese intellectuals call for withdrawal of export curbs

 

Several Japanese intellectuals are urging Tokyo to withdraw its export curbs on South Korea.
몇몇 일본 지식인들이 한국에 대한 수출 억제책을 철회할 것을 정부에 요구하고 있습니다. 

The group, including well-known Japanese professors, scholars and activists, issued a statement on a website on Thursday, saying the export curbs are hostile measures, and that if South Korea retaliates, the ramifications would be catastrophic.
유명한 일본 교수, 학자 및 활동가들이 포함된 이 단체는 목요일 웹사이트에 성명서를 발표했는데, 이 성명서는 수출 억제책은 적대적인 조치이며, 만약 한국이 보복할 경우, 그 파급효과는 재앙적인 수준일 거라고 말했습니다. 

The statement went on to say that it is wrong to treat South Korea as if it were an enemy of Japan, when it actually is an important neighbor in the road to peace and prosperity in East Asia.
이 성명서는 동아시아 평화와 번영의 길목에서 한국은 중요한 이웃인데, 한국을 일본의 적으로 취급하는 것은 잘못된 것이라고 말했습니다.
